In 2008, as the primaries dispute between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama started to heat up, Casbah Pictures approached Figura Media to edit a Spanish Language spot to be used by the Obama campaign in key battleground states with a large Spanish-speaking population. |

With a demanding turnaround deadline, director Richard Caraballo and editor Thiago Da Costa pulled off the job with flying colors. Although the time constraint didn't allow us to give the piece the in-depth motion graphics treatment that we had originally planned, we and the clients thought the piece was effective in the present form anyway. We, at Figura, would like to think that our little spot had something to do with Barack Obama winning the big election months later. |
