IKOVE by Florestas is an organic and fair trade skin care line currently being retailed at Whole Foods markets around the US. The company has a tremendous commitment to social and environmental issues and such commitment pervades its business practices. From the higher prices Florestas pays for the forests ingredients it sources from organic farming cooperatives in Brazil and Bolivia, to the pure and highly natural way its products are formulated (a process that has earned the company the highest levels of organic certification in both the US and Europe) the company is truly a leader in the green business movement.
In 2008, Figura and Ikove teamed up for the creation of a marketing video that would highlight the purity of Ikove's ingredients as well as connections to the forests of Brazil. The video was to be used in trade shows and on the web.
