Written and directed by Shukree Hassan Tilghman, a frequent collaborator of Thiago's, MORE THAN A MONTH is a documentary with a social focus. Its main question is whether the yearly celebration of Black History Month is having any detrimental effects on the teaching of Black history in the United States as well as on the psychology and identity of Black Americans. |

Framed in a investigative journey format, the film, shot by Thiago Da Costa, follows Shukree as he explores the topic by talking to experts, regular people and questioning his own experiences growing up with Black History Month. |
